Shishi vs Silverleaf
Death Duel

Shishi stands under a dark tree his form completely concealed in the blackness of the area, running his hand over the black bark, in his other hand he clutches a finely crafted long bow, the wood used of the bow much lighter in comparison to the black lumber he finds touching his fingertips. The vampire’s hand leaves the bark and wanders slowly to the quiver resting on his back above his cape. From it he pulls three arrows holding the loosely between his fingers, the arrow tips glow a bright white light and sporadically emit white sparks and chains of electricity. The assassin works faster now, the light from the arrowheads illuminating his body in the dark, sending faint rays of light about the trees as the sparks fly out. He nocks an electric arrow into the light bow and sends it flying with intense speed and accuracy towards the pixie’s small torso, hoping to just touch him and send the electricity flowing through his tiny body. He swiftly sends the other two arrows at the druid simultaneously. The lightning arrowhead spiraling about each other as the fly to the pixies two sides if he manages to dodge the first arrow…

Silverleaf stands with his hands folded in his sleeves. His eyes penetrate the blackness of his hood and stares at the spark seen. He takes his new wings and spreads them in anticipation. As he sees the first arrow being inserted into the string he beats his tiny wings propelling him upward trying to navigate away from the arrows. He almost succeeds in doing so but the first arrow clips his toe as he unleashes a groan of pain. The sparks send him off balance and he hits a spider web. He struggles to get free of the web but finds that not happening. He sits calmly at first with his lips moving furiously. Rain clouds come in overhead making the forest even darker than before. A slight drizzle comes as the clouds move into position and the winds starts to pick up. It swirls around kicking up leaves and sending them flying. It breaks Silverleaf free of the web and he looks towards the assassin. His hands raise slowly above his head and the wind starts to direct its way towards Shishi. It seeks to push him back into the forest and stick him into the webs behind.

Shishi smirks lightly as his crimson optics gaze at Silverleaf being caught in the webs. Once again covered completely in darkness he carefully watches the pixie free himself as the rain begins to fall. The scarlet eyes of his family watch the leaves with interest as they swirl about, the assassin steps forward, dropping his light bow and pulling a crude dagger from its holster at his side, intent on completing his assignment. His eyes widen as the wind suddenly shifts sending the leaves and webs flying at him. He brings his arms crossed in front of his face as the wind blast hits him and sends him skidding backwards, his worn sandals kicking up leaves dirt and webs that lie on the forest floor. He is stopped by a very large web sticking to his cape and back. He swings the dagger behind himself slicing through the sticky white material, freeing himself. He tosses his cape aside and begins to dash with the speed only an assassin can produce. Flying out of the darkness, his dagger draw swinging accurately at the pixie’s small neck…

Silverleaf watches the assassin fly back into the woods and an arrogant smirks paints itself across his face. His hands place themselves back inside his sleeves. His body seems to turn and looks at the crowd. He turns looking off into the forest a bit for a good place to fight but starts to hear the trampling of leaves and twigs behind him. The pixie turns to see a blade rushing at him from above. His tiny body seems to weld together and starts growing into that of a human. His hands react immediately and grasp for Shishi's forearm hoping to stay the blow. The two struggle for a bit until Silverleaf pushes off enough to space himself from his aggressor. His hands hit the ground hard as he falls to his knee. It appears as a sign of weakness but the terra starts to tremble immediately after. Mud from the ground starts to shoot up in stalagmites seeking to impale Shishi. Though wet it seems to cake up as soon as it erupts from the ground in a thunderous roar. Mud is sent flying all over the field and Silverleaf throws his hands up over his face hoping to stop the mud.

Shishi stands straight up watching the pixie’s transformation with slight interest as one of his feet fall through a small pile of moistened spider webs. The vampire’s scarlet eyes widen as he listens to the rumble from beneath him and he dives to his left, a mud spire shooting up from the earth and clipping his leg sending the assassin sprawling to the ground, his dark red scarf fluttering in the air as it leaves his neck and face. Shishi pushes himself up quickly as another pile of earth spears up from the ground, the hardening tip grazing his chest, tearing his white shirt slightly. His vampire form weaves in and out between the rising spires, as he moves towards Silverleaf. Mud sprays the area, spilling onto his shirt, face, and pants. One last spike shoots from the ground, catching his foot and sending him falling forward, his hands fly forward as he catches himself and a spring back to his feet, pulling three shuriken from a side pocket and flings them at very close range at the grown druid’s face and upper body. Shishi regains his balance fully and stares the throwing stars down as the fly at his target…

Silverleaf feels the shurikens flying into his arms and shrieks in pain. He pulls his arms down and assesses the damage. His robes now torn and frayed he growls, "Those were given to me by a friend." He cares not for his other ones as winds sweeps by pulling off his hood showing his enraged visage. His nose wrinkles up in anger and his arms fall limp to his side. He is seen lulling about in his own world for a moment as a black cloud engulfs his body. Gnashing of teeth can be heard and other wailings as out rushes Silverleaf. No longer his calm premise, his hair is ruffled badly and his eyes glow with anger locking onto his foe. He rushes him madly with his bare hands seeking to rip his eyes out with them. His own wounds go unnoticed as he throws everything he has physically at the form of Shishi trying to tear at him in a mad rage.

Shishi smiles slightly, his crimson optics burn brightly as the blood of his target is spilled. His excitement rises as the pixie runs at him in his rage. The vampire positions himself into a ready fighting stance to receive the druid’s attacks. Silverleaf’s small fingers fly through his defense and scratch into his cheeks just under his eyes and a stream of blood begins to flow down to his neck. The vampires smile grows wider, revealing his great fangs as he feels the blood leave him. His hands snap into action and grab Silverleaf’s wrists, the two wrestle shortly, the pixie fingertips occasionally scraping into his face again drawing some more crimson liquid. Shishi finally raises his foot to the druid’s stomach deciding to end this, he throws Silverleaf’s small hands back towards him and kicks into his stomach sending them both backwards. The assassin lands gracefully and springs immediately high into the air, landing softly on a thick branch of the tree he began the battle under. His glowing red eyes fade slowly with the rest of his vampire form into the darkness of the night…

Shishi is declared the winner.

Shishi vs Yinepu
Spar/Unjudged Duel

Shishi stands at the edge of the area, near the arena to the north as far away from the fountain as possible, his neck, chin, and mouth are covered by a dull red scarf that flaps lightly along with his pure white cape in the brisk wind. The vampire’s dark blue eyes stare towards his undead opponent and close suddenly. Wind begins to swirl on both sides of the assassin. And one identical copy of Shishi appears instantly on either side of the vampire. The two clones dash away from the original assassin, circling Yinepu until the three surround him in a triangular formation. The copies and Shishi move in unison as they reveal their finely crafted bows that were hidden behind the flapping capes on their backs. All three grin slightly as the original finally reopens his dark blue eyes. Each of them nock two arrows in their bow at the same time and fire them at the death knight. The arrows fly with intense speed towards Yinepu from all sides as the creator of the clones’ grin grows…

Yinepu walks into the area of the fountain, noticing his opponent standing quite a distance from him. He pushes back his cloak, revealing his weary, bony body which is clad in heavy armor. He slowly reaches down for his mysterious blade, taking it with his right hand and removing it from it’s slumber. Instantly, he brings the blade up and watches the assassin intently. He is amazed to see that there are now three of his foes before him. He pays careful attention to the clones as they begin to try to trap him in their paths. He watches as they draw their arrows and take aim. He quickly brings both of his hands up, and then closes his eyes and descends into the ground beneath him. The arrows fly harmlessly over the area which was occupied by the knight. He then slowly reappears behind the original assassin, and slowly begins to draw his blade upon his legs, hoping to pierce through the soft leather padding on his right leg.

Shishi snaps his fingers as all of the arrows miss their mark. The three identical assassins search intently around the dark area, the original vampire not stepping too close to the fountain. As the death knight appears behind him, Shishi’s eyes close once more. The blade is swung at the back of his legs and the vampire disappears only to be replaced by one of the decoys standing exactly where the real Shishi had just been. The sword connects with its target of the right leg and as it slices through the clone is destroyed in an explosion of smoke that quickly surrounds Yinepu. Shishi and the remaining copy have positioned themselves in front of and behind their undead opponent. Each draws a crude dagger from its holster at their sides and swiftly dash into the smokescreen as it appears, using it as cover for their attack. When they reach the death knight, their dark blue optics narrow and they both swing the daggers viciously towards his neck…

Yinepu glances at the remnants of the copy and a small frown appears on his face. His eyes begin to search for the true assassin, crimson orbs flashing about the area. He quickly readies his weapon as he notices that the remaining foes draw near to him. Watching them intently, he quickly jumps towards the left assassin, leaping to the right of him and blocking the dagger blow. From his leap, he is now safely out of the reach of the right assassin, and the vampire’s blow meets no target. He quickly turns around, safe from the pair of deadly foes, and pulls out a pair of rusty, unornamented daggers. The undead knight hurls the pair towards the right assassin, hoping to pierce the white shirt it wears and stain it red with his blood. He then pauses and smirks at the sight of the daggers racing towards his foe. In a sudden, the knight sprints at full speed toward the left vampire, readying his blade for a deadly blow, hoping to remove his head from the rest of the body.

Shishi smirks lightly as the daggers fly towards him, the spirit field that covers his entire body in an invisible thin layer of protection begins to shift it’s position towards his left palm. As the field moves away from his head black markings become visible on the right side of his face, no longer concealed by the spirit energy. The assassin uses the crude dagger he still holds in his right hand to knock one of the projectiles out of the air, to the side. Shishi’s left hand, now glowing white from the spirit field reaches forward and grabs the other dagger by the blade, the power of the field protecting his palm from any damage. Whilst this is happening the copy is occupied with Yinepu himself. The false Shishi raises his own dagger to try and block the vicious swing of the sword. The two blades meet and the dagger is knocked easily away and the death knights attack meets it’s target with enough force to send off the clone in another explosion of smoke. The remaining assassin pulls three gleaming shuriken from a pouch at his side, holding them between his fingers as the spirit field moves back to it’s original place covering his whole body and concealing the black markings again. Shishi pulls his hand back and lets the throwing stars fly towards his opponents body as the white smoke from the decoy begins to dissipate…

Yinepu cries out in agony as the decoy bursts into nothingness, leaving only white smoke for a reminder of what it once was. He quickly turns his attention to the true assassin and notices that his daggers did nothing and were meaningless. He quickly eyes the throwing stars flying towards him, and he readies his blade to deflect them. Through the smoke screen, he barely can trace the paths and begins to swing widely in their direction. The knight manages to deflect two of the stars, but once embeds itself within his right arm. The undead looks down upon the star, and raises his left hand to it, and removes it from it’s place upon him. Yinepu smirks towards the assassin, and then drops the star to the ground. “The undead feel no pain.” He then begins to reach for a small pouch located on his left hip, and removing a powdery substance from the bag, he begins to sprinkle it upon the blade he holds. The steel of the blade begins to react to the powder, taking on a new white hue as the knight stands there, admiring it’s brilliance. He looks towards the assassin, and grins an evil smile at him. He then carefully holds the pouch in his left hand and begins to sprint towards the assassin. Within a few feet of the assassin, he throws the pouch on the ground, causing a cloud of powder to erupt from it. The powder envelopes the knight, and under the screen, he readies his blade in a thrust maneuver, hoping to drive it straight into the vampire’s heart.

Shishi smiles again as the shuriken digs into the undead arm and is pulled out. The vampires dark blue eyes watch intently as the death knight sprinkles the powder on the blade and it begins to change color. The assassin readies himself, the crudely crafted dagger still clutched in his right hand. Shishi’s eyes flash red for a moment as Yinepu moves towards him and is suddenly covered by the powder, he side steps smoothly to the right trying to avoid the thrust. He moves slightly to slowly and the blade slices into his side. Shishi is knocked to the ground and rolls shortly before springing back to his feet and noticing he stands next to the blood fountain. He hops backwards putting some distance between him and it and looks back to his undead opponent still slightly grinning…
