Pappy smiles as she sees Valaria. "You're here just in time. She is ready to deliver. Maedelyn will encourage her to push as I help guide the baby out. You can stay close by with one of those blankets and as soon as he or she is out... I will hand him to you."

Valaria nods and grabs a few blankets, draping them in her hands, ready for the baby.
Pappy said to Lilian, "OK Lil... listen to me.. the next contraction.. I want you to take a deep breath,hold it in and push. Think you can do that?"
Lilian shakes herself out of her deliusion as she hears Valaria's voice. Her body tenses once more as another pain shoots through her.

Maedelyn said to Lilian, "Ye need to push..."

Lilian takes a deep breath in as her pain builds again, and attempts to push the babe from her

Maedelyn nods faintly to Lilian, offering the woman a faint, rassuring smile. "Good, good..."

Pappy said to Lilian, "That's it// nice job. Keep it up.."
Lilian takes another deep breath and lets out a shrill scream.
Valaria looked at Lilian.
Pappy smiles as she sees the head of the baby slowly emerge.
Valaria watches behind Pappy, grinning at the miracle taking place.
Lilian closes her eyes and continues in her attempt to push the child out of her. Crimson tears begin streaking down her cheeks.
Maedelyn smiles broadly as the baby's head emerges, speaking to Lilian once more. "You are doing well, m'lady... It will be over soon..."
Pappy places her hand on the childs head to slowly guide it out. She looks up to Lilian "OK Big push now Lil. I need to get the shoulders out."

Valaria reaches for a clean handkerchief in her bag next to her and wipes Lilian's tears away and dabs her forehead.
Lilian pushes as hard as she is able, the tears now staining her neck.
Valaria readies herself again with the blankets draping over her hands and arms.
Pappy slowly guides the childs shoulders out. She smiles " OK stop pushing for a moment." She looks to Valaria. "In my bag right there... is a dagger. Will you hand it to me. I need to cut the umbilical cord."
Lilian allows her body to relax the best it can.
Valaria quickly reaches in Pappy's bag, pulling out the dagger and hands it over to her.
Lilian looked at you.
Maedelyn looked at Lilian.
Pappy takes the dagger with one hand and swiftly cuts the umbilical cord. She knots the two ends. She looks to Lilian "OK sweetie one more push and we will see if it's a boy or girl."
Lilian closes her eyes tightly and pushes once more.
Lilian looked at Maedelyn.

Pappy smiles as the small child emerges fully. Pappy looks and sees it is a boy. She quickly cleans out his mouth and blows into his face making him take a breath. She hands him to Valaria. "Keep him warm."
Pappy said to Lilian, "Tis a boy my friend. COngradulations."
Lilian bows her head slowly as another twinge of pain corses through her body.
Lilian whispered something to Pappy.
Valaria swaddles the baby quickly into the blankets, smiling brightly herself. She wipes around the baby boy's face with a clean cloth to wipe away some excess blood. Once the baby is wrapped well, she holds him close to her while Pappy finishes up.
Valaria said to Lilian, "He's beautiful. *smiles* Congratulations."
Pappy here Lilians words and blinks "Another?"
Maedelyn said to Lilian, "Congratulations, m'lady."
Lilian smiles faintly at Valaria.
Maedelyn frowns deeply at the mention of another child.

Lilian said to Pappy, "Tis what Sabine tol.... me. Near the beginin of my term."
Valaria gasps. "Oh my! Twins?"

Maedelyn whispered to Valaria, "Where I hail from, twins are forbidden."

Valaria whispered to Maedelyn, "Why is that, m'lady?"

Maedelyn whispered to Valaria, "Tis unnatural for a woman to carry two babes where theh is only room for one."
Maedelyn whispered to Valaria, "So the gods demand the other."

Valaria whispered to Maedelyn, "Ahh, I see. *nods*"
Maedelyn nods silently to Valaria.

Valaria cradles the baby gently as he cries softly in her arms. "Shhh, little one. You will be with your mother soon. *smiles*"
Lilian glances cautiously in between the two whispering strangers.
Maedelyn said, "I apologize, but I must take my leave now. Be well, all of you."

Lilian tilts her head back and clenches her teeth together in pain.
Lilian oocly will be right back.

Pappy looks to Lilian "You ready to go again Lil?"
Lilian closes her eyes and nods.
Pappy said to Lilian, "OK Nice and slow... give me a few good pushes."
Lilian breathes in deeply and begins to push once more. The pain that begins corsing through her body is nearly unbearable.
Pappy feels to see if the head is coming and looks up with a shocked expression . She looks over to Valaria then to Lilian. "Stop pushing for a seoncd sweetie."
Valaria said to Pappy, "What is it?"

Lilian attempts to relaxe her body, pain still shooting through her. Tears begin streaming down her cheeks once more.
Pappy said to Valaria, "I feel a foot not a head. I think this baby is breech."
Valaria sighs. "Oh my...."
Pappy checks again and nods. "Yup.. Lilian this one is going to hurt a little more I think. Maybe not cuz it is baby number two.. But I will help you.
Pappy said to Lilian, "OK next contraction push again."
Lilian nods and clenches her teeth together once more.
Valaria maneuvers the baby boy into one arm, holding it close to her body for warmth. With her other hand, she reaches for some more blankets, fanning them out and laying them next to Pappy to set the second baby in when it is delivered.
Lilian begins pushing once more as hard as her body will allow.
Pappy feels for the foot and genlty pulls on it. She notices the second foot emerge "OK shouldn't be much more now. Lili one big push so I can clear the shoulders."
Lilian takes another deep breath and pushes once more.

Pappy pulls the child out, slightly turning it to release the shoulders. She smiles as she sees the baby emerge completely. She repeats the same procedure, cutting thr cord and knotting it. She clears the baby's mouth and blows on her face. The baby takes a deep breath. Pappy smiles and places the baby in the blankets. She begins to clean the baby and warm her. She smiles as she looks to Lilian "Tis a girl Lil. One of each."
Lilian pushes herself up with her elbows and looks over her children

Valaria moves close to Lilian and lays the baby boy across his mother's chest. "What's his name?"

Pappy smiles once more as she looks down at the girl. She frowns for a moment, but quickly tries to smile hoping Lilian won't notice. She begins to unwrap the girl to look at her again.

Lilian looks over her baby boy and smiles warmly. "His name is Elric."
Valaria smiles brightly at the boy. "Welcome to Hollow, baby Elric."

Valaria said to Lilian, "What about your daughter? Her name?"

Pappy looks the small baby over, her expression becomes puzzled.
Lilian looks over at Pappy sensing her unease. "Her name is Nalea. What is wrong Pappy?"

Lilian takes her baby boy in her arms and slowly sits up.
Pappy looks to Lilian then to Val then back at the baby. "Lil... her skin is translucent, as though she has no pigmentation. Almost like she is an albino." She brings the infant girl closer to her mother.

Lilian closes her eyes. "She has taken after her father...."

Pappy said to Lilian, "So this is ok then? There is nothing wrong?"
Valaria looks at the baby girl, then to Pappy, unsure what that means.

Pappy said to Lilian, "May I announce them to the land?"
Pappy whispered to Valaria, "She will always have very pale skin, her eyes will be crimson and her hair white."
Lilian said to Pappy, "We will know in a few days how serious it is."

Lilian said to Pappy, "If you wish to announce it you may."

Pappy nods "I am sure she will be fine Lilian."

Valaria said, "Pappy, Lilian? I must be off now, but thank you for allowing me to help be part of bringing these two miracles into our world."

Pappy shouted, "Excuse me... May I have everyones attention please... *she pauses for a moment* I would like to announce the birth of Elric and Nalea. Son and daughter to Lilian. Born tonight in these great lands. "
