Valzain vs Syadon (October 21, 2003)
Spar/Unjudged duel

Valzain breathes heavily taking the aroma of blood and flesh all around him. The smell of evil creeps through his pores filling him with hatred and malice. Valzain lowers his eyes meeting those of Syadon. “I will enjoy seeing how well you taste.” Vazlain bares his teeth as saliva drips from his mouth sizzling as it touches the ground beneath him. He slowly reaches for his sword under his cloak pulling it form his sheath as it glistens in the dark room. Valzain’s eyes begin to burn red as his anger grows from deep within his very soul. His hand grips his blade tightly in the one hand while he holds his amulet in the other as his evil power grows all around his body. Valzain walks slowly towards the thief twirling his silvery blade around in the air, taunting his foe. Valzain suddenly swings his blade into the air as he brings it crashing down at Syadon’s unguarded belly trying to slice him in half.

Syadon bows to those in attendance here this night. Focusing his azure gaze upon the one called Valzain. Studying his features for some obvious sign of weakness, of which he is sure the young vampire ranger is full of. His gaze falls to the ground, back upwards towards the stalagtite covered ceiling. Syadon begins to smile, “Is that fear in you I sense.” Reaching into his dusty ruck sack, feeling for any sign of a weapon, his cold vampiric hand comes across a blade nearly forgotten. Pulling forth a glowing hilt, sheathed in many glorious jewels, encased in a scabbard matching the swords hilt in its beauty. Sliding his hand across the diamond in the hilt, “You shall do nicely I think.” Sliding the blade from within its covering, the charred iron blade coated with soot, striking it upon the rock wall of the cave, igniting a flame that could envelope even the greatest of warriors. As the vampire approaches Syadon smiles, “Funny, is that sword play, or childs play . This is a battle not a twirling contest.” Sy
adon growls, leaping backwards narrowly escaping serious injury, looking down, he sees his once shimmering white robe, is ripped, and has some fresh blood on it. “For that you shall pay!” Leaping high into the air bringing the flaming blade down directly towards Valzain’s body with a ferocity only rarely seen. His flowing white hair trails behind him, the sweat on his brow is etched with blood, the heated air in this putrid place only serves to enrage him even more. Retrieving his blade to his side, extending his right leg, aiming it directly towards Vlazain’s heart. “This shall not be so quick.”

Valzain bends to his knees bracing himself for the violent attack. He raises his hands firmly above his head as he surrounds his hands against Syadon’s wrist holding the blade in the air above his open chest. The vampires struggle back and forth as Valzain roles to the side quickly standing to his feet. Blood begins to trickle down his arm as Valzain notices the shredded skin on his shoulder. He turns his attention back to Syadon as he becomes enraged with fury. Valzain throws his sword to the side pulling out his crossbow from behind his back. Slowly, he rubs his shoulder and places the blood from his wound on five different arrows. The blood begins to steam and smoke as Valzain strings them to his bow. He draws the arrows back taking aim at Syadon’s stomach as he lets them loose in the air staying true to their course heading straight for Syadon.

Syadon places his cold vampiric hand upon the putrid earth in this place, pushing upwards, thrusting himself to an upright position. Quickly he turns, seeing the streaming arrows, twisting his blade he deflects two of the five, catching another in his free hand. The last two pierce his fleche, the agonizing pain shoots up his body coursing through his veins, the venom from the arrows tip sends chills up his spine. Syadon collapses in a heap, his head is spinning, many thoughts rule his mind. Grasping his robe he pulls at it, ripping it off of his angelic body, revealing his many features. Upon his back two great ebon wings wrap around his torso, unfolding to a width of nearly six feat. Syadon growls with a fury so great the very walls of hell begin to shiver. Rising into the air. Never once flapping his wings, mearly hovering about the cavernous room. His once kind gaze slides into one of rage, “I tried to play nice, would you let me no. Now I am angered, and you shall pay.” With one great thrust of his ebo
n wings, he begins to encircle the vampire Valzain. Dust from the caverns floor slowly begins to rise, encircling the vampire ever higher it rises, to the caves roof, all that is visible is the dust. Syadon laughs methodically, appearing out of the shadows for only seconds at a time. Until behind Valzain, flying directly towards his backside he swings his flaming sword with great vigor. Aiming the jewel incrusted blade directly towards Valzains lower torso...

Valzain begins to tremble as the dust arises around him enveloping him in a cloudy storm. Valzain is suddenly thrust against the wall of the evil room by the raging winds. He falls to his knees trying to regain control of himself. Valzain rises to his shakly feet gazing once again at Syadon in the air. His blood begins to boil as he sees the wings on the back of his foe. Valzain’s body starts to writhe in agony and hatred for his mortal foe. “Now I know your true self. Evil will prevail today and I will crush you beneath my feet and suck the life form your body.” Valzain quivers as evil rushes through his body and through his bones causing him to act abnormal. He draws a dagger from his belt as he cuts into the palm of his hand wathing as the blood drips from the blade onto the dusty ground. He grabs hold of his enchanted amulet as he speaks in an archane language feeling the surrounding evil pour into his soul. Blood falls from his fiery, red eyes as they begin to bleed profusely over his pale face. Valza
in drops to his knees letting the evil take control over his spirit as he lowers his head shrieking in writhing pain. He sits there for a moment seemingly dead as he stays motionless. Suddenly he rises to his feet screaming and yelling as he grabs hold of his head shaking back and forth. He looks up to Syadon as he inhales, slowly taking a deep breath of the stale air round him. A low tone of voice not of his own emerges from his crimson stained lips, “You are my eternal enemy as I shall rid you of this unholy place.” Valzian takes his blood stained dagger in hand as leaps high into the air hovering beside the mystical vampire. He swipes at Syadon’s throat leaving a trail of wicked blood in the air.

Syadon grasps Valzain’s wrist, looking the vampire deep into his eyes, his azure eyes begin to glow a brilliant shade of crystalline blue, “Evil.......you think you know of evil. Ha hahahaha, I shall show you evil.” raising his hand causing a rift in the fabric of time itself,, revealing all the great horrors of his past. Every evil thought, every death he has caused, the shear torture he has caused begins to course into Valzain’s mind. “I am evil.” Lowering his hand, still looking deep into Valzain’s eyes. Raising his flaming blade up the wall, the tip sparking as it glides across the caverns surface. Releasing his grasp, backing away slowly, dropping the tip to the ground as he backs away. “You have fought bravely, so few in this land will do as much.” Syadon turns walking away slowly, his eyes glowing with hatred, “Still you must die!” Spinning with all the vigor of a tiger, letting his blade lead the way, aiming it directly towards the vampires neck...........

Valzain stares at the images as they plant themselves in his mind running through over and over again. Valzain shakes his head wildly as he screams in agony. “Get out of my head!!!” I can’t take it anymore!” Valzain falls to his knees with his hands rubbing his tormented head trying to release himself from the horror inside him. He opens his eyes as he rises to his feet regaining his balance. He wipes the bloody tears from his eyes just in time to see a blade heading for his chest. Valzain tries to step back but not in enough time to parry the blow. The blade scrapes his chest leaving a trail of blood flying from his body. Valzain falls back against the Throne Room walls as he stares at Syadon with a blank look. “That alone will not defeat me. This was but the beginning in our conflict winged one. I shall see you again.” With that Valzain steps forward shrugging the pain away glaring his pearly fangs hissing at Syadon.

Valzain vs Dante
Spar/Unjudged duel

Valzain tilts his head as he peers into the moonlit sky above as a cool wind blows passes by, pressing his dreadlocked hair against his corroded skin. A look of evil crosses the vampire's face as he glares deep into the eyes of his opponent. The Dark Magii rubs his staff softly as the tip ignites into a black flame. Valzain whispers into the cool breeze as the words slip from his tongue. He lowers his possessed staff, touching the ground below as it begins to shake. A huge crack splits the earth between the magii and Dante. Creatures from the pits of hell crawl to the surface while cursed harpies fill the air, letting shrieks of terror and torture fill the night. The beasts creep towards the vampire as the winged ones hover above, laying a silouhette of darkness against the pale moon. Valzain grins with pleasure as he watches his demonic beats flare their arcane weapons and darkness about as they charge their foe.

Dante sets his jaw stoically, the world quaking beneath him, upsetting the carefully laid foundations of this tower, causing the vehement obelisk to sway and tilt in the height of the world. Silently a hand falls down to the vampires side, going for the beautiful, yet cryptic handle of his falchion. Harpies shriek about him, cackling and reaching out with their dasterdly charms, other beasts nearly akin to them coming forth with great vestements and hordes of weaponry. From between parted, blood-tint lips comes a guffaw to drown out even the harpies laughter, halting them in their paths. As their magics come close to impact with Dante he waves a ghostly hand, dispersing his form from this plane. Fiery bursts explode upon the surface of Slit's old tower, tearing away at the masonry. Suddenly, as if death itself had passed form the depths, all goes silent. Seconds later the harpies fall from the sky, the groping boughs of Sage rushing up to meet with their hideous, spiraling forms. Thunder rolls from an unseen storm, and in a flash of lightning the other beasts are felled; their writhing forms topple from the tower, swept up and away by a powerful zypher. In the center of the tower top the air hazes with a fine, damask mist, smelling faintly of spring. The beauty and awe is sucked away as Dante storms from within the well-seeming midst, 'Talaryn's Requiem' lashing out with a horrid lust for vampiric blood, its ever lengthening blade stretching towads Valzain as shadows wreathe about it, mingled with the very pyre of hell.

Valzain waves his wicked hands about , leaving a trail of crimson hue in the wake. The vampire draws his staff as it beams with a blinding aura of blackness. Dante’s blade hurdles through the air as it pierces the muscular arm of Valzain. A terrifying scream leaves his mouth as he looks down at his tattered arm. A look of hatred and anger streaks across the Dark Magii’s face as his fists clench with fury and rage. A mighty roar fills the air about him as the Magii calls for the beast of the underworld. Valzain’s breathe can be seen as it leaves his vampiiric body, giving life to the beast from below. Looking to the side an enormous hand can be seen as the beast crawls to the top of the tower and shows his his evil likeness to Dante. His body distorts and twists in ways never seen. Horns pierce his peeling skin as the rest of his body is covered with skulls and bones from previous victims. The creature towers above as a shrill look of malice pierces into the souls of those around. The beast lashes out at Dante, crushing the air as his inferno blade screams through the air.

Dante levitates before Valzain without crux, his word sheathed within the Magii's arm, the vampiric blood seeping into tormented shadow and accursed flame. Inacting an old tradition, he tosses back his streaming tendrils, the resplendent silvery glow shimmering under the wan moon. Evilly he smiles, eyes narrowing to slits, aimed only towards Valzain, pondering his movements as Talaryn's Requiem slides from the vampires flesh. The change in temperature is easily noticeable, and Dante's eyes leave their enemy, staring about curiously for signs of other attackers. Behest by the Dark Magii, a hand, followed quickly by a gragant body, expells from the sulfurous bowels of the underlands, standing high above Slit's tower, so as to rise above the mountainous ranges off in the distance. Mingling fear and anger brush over Dante's bleached features. His jaw simply drops, hanging open without sound as the great monstrousity draws back and swings, its blade traversing the gap between with uncanny speed, only matched by Dante's defense. Quickly, he brings his own brand up to absorb the blow, though in underestimation of the demons force. Like a ragdoll he is tossed away, sprawled down to the unkind earth at the bas of Slit's haven. Flora and fauna clear from his rocketing path, many trees splintering about him, ther earth denting downward. Dust surrounds. The wisping dust snakes upwards, paving an unsolidified path to Slit's rooftop. As your eyes focus more upon it you can see Dante, haggard and much worse for the wear, stalking indignantly up the path, silver orbs, spired like flames, wrapped about his able hands. With the power of a tiger he leaps, the silver flames streaking out towards Valzain, with their creator following closely, shadowy appendages carrying him through the air, eyeteeth bared and ready to clamp upon the Magii.

Valzain s eyes fill with excitement as he watches Dante soar through the air, crashing down upon him with his pearly white fangs bared. The Magii lifts his staff into the air as his enemy falls down upon him. A thudding of bodies sounds as the two vampires fight with valor, each of them trying to drain the other's life with a simple death grip with their capable fangs. A dark energy flows through Valzain's body as the silvery flames strike his body and burn his corroding skin. The smell of burnt flesh surrounds the two beings as the Magii look s at the mark the flames left on his side. The wind stops as all becomes silent and Valzain rises once again before his worthy opponent. Poisoned saliva drips from his white fangs as it falls to the stony rooftop. The dark liquid spreads across the floor, inching its way towards Dante as a form of beast emerges from its likeness. A being that seems to have no spine or any skin at all takes shape from the drops of saliva. It takes a sanguine color and a smooth form without detail. The creature sways back and forth eying his prey as it suddenly lashes forth, threatening to envelope Dante and suffocate the air from his body.

Dante stands poised upon the stony roof, his eyes wide with the bloodlust natural to the beings of his heritage. Rivulets not belonging to him fall from his fangs, as blood of his own streaks from the bite that Valzain returned. A sick, green swarth takes the area about the bite, Dante's inner-body defenses battling with an unexpected venom. Sights fade in and out of the master vampire's mind, a last before darkness of a tall, gellatinous shape, formed of pure shadow. Air stops entering the man's chest, caught in a tenuous position of weakness. Feeling, smell, and all other senses slowly melt away from him, leaving him reeling in pitch, caught in starlessness. Every thought that comes to him is interrupted by a frivilous gulp for air, only to take in climateless night. Fury takes hold of him, swarming through him just as the last feeling is aboutt o drop from him. Suddenly the rage of ferality rises up, his unnaturally long nails jettying out even further, reaching exaggerated length and tearing through his malliable black carapace. The ooze parts further by the biddance of his long hairs, entertwining as tha have before, stretching outwards in crimson and silver. Soon the garb of oozing ebon is tossed aside like some forgotten robe, albeit the streaming fronds do not stop growing, nor do the sharp, deathly claws. Quickly they take over the roof, streaking in with scabrous edges towards Valzain as the forest of razors keeps growing and constricting around the Magii vampire.

Valzain watches the razor like nails speed through the air as they grow in ferocity, piercing the wind as they hiss through the air. The thought of his head being severed crosses Valzain's mind as he watches the slender blades charge at him. With a slight flick of his wrists and a slow movement of his staff, Valzain is surrounded with an evil energy that covers his body. He stands there still, waiting as the nails jet forth, gaining in speed as thy move with ease through the night air. One by one the nails skip off the aura of darkness around the Magii, save one. The longest and most lethal nail pierces the orb around the vampire as it thrusts into Valzain's chest, scraping deeper and deeper as it pushes itself into his body. The Dark Magii falls to his knees, laying his powerful hands on the blade, pulling at the blade and releasing it from the open wound now on his chest. Cursed blood spills from his lifeless body as it pours out among the stony ground, spreading along Valzain's body. His breaths get slower as the pain increases. He struggles to lift himself as a groan of writhing pain emits from within his throat. His head tilts and his eyes meet those of Dante's. "You will not have the best of me Vampire." With that, Valzain uses every but of strength left in his weak body as he stands once again to his feet, bracing himself against a pillar. His eyes burn with hatred as he poses himself to Dante, showing as little signs of pain as possible
